The Powerboat Instructors course doesn\'t have time to brush up bad habits or to teach the practical or theoretical skills of driving/navigating a Powerboat.  The Instructors course concentrates on applying the \"Instructional\" element to your already high standard of knowledge and driving skills.

So, to enable Instructor candidates to \"hit the ground running\" the Skills Assessment course is there to ensure that individual Instructor candidates driving and navigation skills are at an acceptable \"Instructor\" level prior to the Powerboat Instructors course.

We will run the one day course with training in the powerboat/classroom - to bring you up to speed with the current RYA Powerboat Level 2 course syllabus - and an assessment of your application of skills.  Check out the content of the RYA Powerboat L2 Skills Assessment in Downloads below.
