Previous Experience | The candidate should have the equivalent of at least one full seasons powerboat handling experience. See Download panel below for further information |
Minimum age | 12 Years old |
Course Handbook | A RYA Start Powerboating handbook is issued |
Assessment | There will be an element of training to bring you up to the current RYA Powerboat Level 2 syllabus followed by the Assessment |
Certification | A RYA Certificate is issued on a successful completion of the Assessment. You will need to provide a current Passport Photo of yourself |
Clothing | Please bring suitable warm clothing to wear (under our free to use Musto GORE-TEX MPX waterproofs) also a hat, gloves, sun screen, and wellies / shoes - that may get wet, all appropriate for the time of year |
Lifejackets | We will provide Lifejackets - If you would like to wear your own Lifejacket, please ensure that its serviceability is in date |
Refreshments | We are providing tea and coffee that you can make yourself. |
Lunch | Please come prepared to buy your lunch as there will be a navigation expedition to a venue where there will be an opportunity to get a meal & drink |
Parking | Is free |
