REC 2 Day Outdoor First Aid Course
As a result of COVID-19 we are now operating with only 4 to a course this enables a 2 metre social distancing in the classroom. We are providing extensive individual specialist training equipment so that all participants have 'hands on'.
This course takes place in and outside the classroom.
At the bottom of this page is a Book and Pay facility, when you use it you will receive a receipt and course booking confirmation, all by email - 24/7.

Course Fee | £125 Is our Pre COVID-19 discounted REC Outdoor First Aid course price which is not viable to currently charge as we can no longer have large group numbers attending in a classroom. WE ARE NOW OPERATING WITH ONLY 4 TO A COURSE. We are currently providing REC First Aid courses at £210 these courses have more Technical content and all candidates train using their own Manikin and Defibrillator. Aid course
The REC 2 Day Outdoor First Aid course is designed to introduce a systematic way of First Aid for managing casualties using practicals intermixed with scenarios of real situations in an outdoor environment.
The course includes:-
The fundamental workings of the body, in particular the heart, lungs and airway
Assessing a casualty
Introduces a system to cope with incidents as safely as possible
Deciding how to deal with an accident or incident
Awareness of delayed medical help and adverse environmental conditions

Certificate Information.
The candidates:-
All candidates entering the REC scheme start with the REC 2 Day Outdoor First Aid Course.
The Qualification:-
The REC (Rescue Emergency Care) Emergency First Aid Course is certified for 3 years and is an entry point for the REC scheme. It is currently the approved course for BASI, SkiClub GB, ASCL, RYA, BCU and MLTB, confirm with your National Governing Body.
(An RYA First Aid Certificate can be issued - see below)
(Note to RYA Instructors and Commercial Endorsement holders:- The RYA First Aid syllabus is covered throughout the REC 2 Day First Aid course, if you would like an RYA First Aid Certificate for attending the course, pay an additional £10 at the start of the course to cover Certification and to receive the RYA/MCA recommended First Aid book)

You will train with your own full body Smart Electronic Feedback Manikin and use a Defibrillator.

COVID-19 Precautions for REC 2 Day
Outdoor First Aid course.
It is essential that you read our COVID-19 information page prior to booking your course, you can read it Here.
You will have your own full body manikin for CPR training, the manikins airways and lungs will be renewed along with appropriate cleaning of the manikin.
Due to the current circumstances only 4 to a course.
If you are part of a Family Group/Bubble you will be able to practice the various Recovery Positions between you if not you will be able to use 'Fred Float' our full body weight purpose built manikin.
We have always provided gloves for First Aid courses so there will be plenty of gloves on hand!.....
